The Media's Catching Up
By Michael The Libertarian
If I were to type out a quotation, my friends, by none other than Hillary Rotten Clinton, do you think you could identify exactly what she was talking about? Remember, this is a lady who has made some of the most passive-aggressive statements/apologies I've ever heard.
Her use of private e-mail for sensitive information? "Mistakes were made.". Not: "I made some mistakes". Not even: "People on my staff made some mistakes". No "Mistakes were made" as if they were made through their own volition.
Anyway, here's the quote in question and I will highlight a portion:
"Make no mistake, as the press is finally catching up to the facts, which we desperately tried to present to them during the last months of the campaign," she added. "This is not just an attack on me and my campaign, although that may have added fuel to it. This is an attack against our country. We are well beyond normal political concerns here. This is about the integrity of our democracy and the security of our nation."
Is there any chance that she was talking about revelations that as SoS she signed off on the sale of Uranium One to the Russian government? Is there any chance that she's saying that the $143,000,000 given to the Clinton Foundation right before the sale had anything to do with her decision?
True or not, this situation stinks and should absolutely be investigated. Of course, some of us were saying it should have been investigated since it happened.
Why do you think Shrillary stepped down from the Obama administration after his first term? This thing stunk, back then. Poor Barry O ... he wanted so desperately to have a "scandal-free" administration and, had it not been for this Uranium One deal (and the IRS scandal and "Fast And Furious") he might have succeeded.
No, as I said, last year, during the election season: the Clintons are a "disease" of corruption that have managed to stain everything they've touched.
At this point, the DNC, as a whole and individual Democrats should recognize Shrillary's toxicity and treat her like she's radioactive. The best thing they could do is ignore her. Actually, no. The best thing they could do is denounce her, but since that is not likely to happen, pretending she doesn't exist is the next best thing.
It's not that I don't fail to see the irony of the fact that she's been decrying the Russians as one of the main reasons she lost since shortly after the loss and now it turns out that she's been in bed with Russia since at least 2010? I think it's a delicious turn of events that may put her where she belongs; a federal prison, in an orange jumpsuit.
I do have some sympathy and compassion for her. She married a guy, specifically to get to the White house because, at the time, it didn't seem likely that a woman could get there on her own. Then, just as the identity politics seemed to be going her way, along comes Barry O, who ranked higher on the "Victimhood Scale" than she did.
Then, after she'd waited "her turn", along comes this ground swell of populism that just could not be turned aside.
It's not that people have an issue with a woman in the white house, anymore. It's not that there's a "glass ceiling". It's not even about the "stain of her husband" being an accused rapist and sexual assaulter while she defended him and lambasted his accusers.
Hillary, it's just that people don't like you. To put it in Hollyweird terms: "You're just not believable in the role of 'human being'. Sorry. We'll call you and do lunch."
